Lack of rumble feature can be a big problem for Sony- says immersion technology's head honcho.
PS3 online gaming is going to be free. This is a great news for Xbox live haters. I hope Sony manages to create a great experience for all the online gamers.

Assassin’s Creed might not be PS3 exclusive after all. There has been no official announcement yet. However, Gamespot has a few very convincing arguments against the exclusivityn talks. This game was one of the most impressive game in the E3 after Gears of War for me. Check out both of these trailer 1 and trailer 2.
Background downloading in Xbox live is coming soon, hopefully. This would be great news for all the Xbox live user. Not having this service to begin with was a stupid move. No official announcement yet though.
Here is a great article from Eurogamer regarding the state of PS3. It is a great read and you guys should check it out. If you have time read the comments section too. Most of them are very witty and you will have a great sense of how Sony is committing one of the biggest blunders in the corporate history.
I feel sorry for English gamers. Sony will make them pay out of their A$$ to buy the PS3. 425 UK pounds ($803 when converted).
Few pages from Dean Takahashi’s excellent e-book “The Xbox 360 Uncloaked”. You guys should definitely check out the book if you have any interest about videogames. I really like the fact that Microsoft was so cool about the whole thing. If you want to buy the book here is the website.

Satoru Iwata, the Nintendo chairman, doesn’t think episodic content would be popular among the gamers. I beg to differ. I really like the concept and I think it has a very bright future. I just want to point out something about the WII- it does not have a hard drive which is an absolute necessary to download episodic content. The street had a great interview with Ninty president. You can check out the whole interview here.
Xbox 360 helped GameStop to have a blockbuster quarter. They just released their better than estimated quarterly earnings. They really like the $60 price tag for the next generation games. :(
SNK likes The WII.
This is a very funny interview of Peter Moore from Microsoft. He gets hammered by the SPACE GHOST. You have to see this.
The high price of PS3 has been the talk of the town for all video gamers and videogames analysts. I truly believe Sony would have a very hard time selling its console to average consumers after the launch period is over and it will be evident by next years E3. This will create a lot of problems for the videogame publishers. Next Generation has a nice piece discussing this issue.
